About the Cherry Topped Tiers design
Two rounded boxes stack into this cake, the upper tier narrower and left completely plain inside. A solid black cherry, the only filled shape in the drawing, presses down onto its lid with its base flattened where they meet. The wider bottom tier carries the action: a wavy line of icing runs across its upper third, dipping into one deep U at the center like a drip that ran farther than the rest. Below it, the open lower band stays bare.
