How Long It Takes

Allow 5 to 11 business days from order to wall. Checkout shows you the same window before you pay.

That splits into two parts. Nothing is sitting on a shelf, so your sign is cut and powder coated after you order it, which takes 3 to 5 business days. Then it travels, which is another 2 to 6.

Business days means we do not count weekends or public holidays. Ordering on a Friday evening is the same as ordering on the Monday.

Larger sizes are not slower. A 36 inch sign goes through the same cutting and coating as a 12 inch one, so the window above holds across the whole range.

Buying for a Date

If the sign has to arrive by a birthday, a wedding or a housewarming, order at least three weeks ahead. The window above is honest rather than optimistic, and most orders beat it, but a made-to-order sign has no way of being rushed once it is in production.

Where We Ship

The continental United States. We cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Guam. That is a limit we ran into rather than a decision we made: the workshop that cuts these signs will not send them outside the lower 48 at any price, and no delivery charge we could offer would change it.

Checkout will not let you choose another country, which is deliberate: taking payment for an address we cannot deliver to helps nobody. If you are outside that area and want a sign, write to [email protected] and say where you are. Enough of those and it becomes worth solving.

Tracking

You get a payment receipt by email as soon as you order, then a tracking link once the parcel is on its way. Tracking can take a day to start moving, so a quiet link at first is normal.

If a parcel looks stuck, email [email protected] and we will chase it. An order that never arrives is remade free, as set out in our returns policy.

Several Signs, One Address

Buy more than one and they may arrive separately. Each is made individually, so they finish at different times and we send each as it is ready rather than holding the first until the last catches up.

How It Arrives

Flat, boxed and cornered. Steel does not bend in the post, but the powder coat can be scuffed, so signs travel with the coated face protected. If the box looks damaged, photograph it before you open it. With that photo we can replace the sign without asking you for anything else.
