Where the word sofia comes from
Sofia is the Greek sophia, wisdom. The church of Hagia Sophia in Istanbul carries the same word.
America spells it two ways and both stand high on the list. Each spelling is a separate name to anyone looking for a sign, so the f and the ph are cut as different words.
