About the Twisting Sprig design
The stem bends like a loose S, leaning left near the base and swinging right before it reaches the top, with seven leaves hanging off it. The lowest leaf on the left lies almost flat, stretched sideways like an oar. Opposite it, the lower right leaf carries a deep wedge notch that splits its tip into two points, as if something took a bite. At the crown, two leaves rise side by side and curl gently apart.
