About the Broken Headstone design
Cracks show up here only as jogs in the outline, since the slab itself is one unbroken black mass with no inscription. A narrow V notch bites down from the top edge near the left shoulder. Partway down, the left side steps sideways, and lower on the right a deeper notch lets the bottom section jut out past the top, as if the stone slid apart along its breaks. The whole slab leans slightly, its top edge climbing toward the rounded right corner.
