About the Grave Cross design

Every end of this cross is softly rounded, so the top and both arms finish like the tips of wooden dowels. The crossbar sits high, so the upright below it stretches about three times as long as the stub above before sinking into a small domed mound of earth. That mound rests on a wider, lower hill whose edges taper to thin points on either side, like a flattened arch. The whole figure is solid black, with no cutouts anywhere.
