About the Pedestal Cross design
Three short arms flare outward from the crossing, each one pinching thin at the center and widening into a flat, squared end. Below them the shaft runs long and smooth, slowly thickening as it drops until it swells into a rounded, bulging collar. A narrow waist follows, then a broader foot with soft scalloped steps, so the whole base resembles the bottom of a chess pawn. The silhouette stays solid black, with no cutouts or carving anywhere on it.
