Halloween Skull and Crossbones Metal Sign

About the Skull and Crossbones design

Four lumpy bone ends poke out from behind the skull, each one a fat double knuckle shaped like the end of a cartoon dog biscuit. Only short stubs of shaft show between those knobs and the head, so the crossed bones seem pinned in place by the skull itself. The eyes are two wide white ovals set close together and level. Below them the jaw narrows into a squared block that ends in three rounded teeth, like the tips of stubby fingers.
