About the Urn Headstone design
Domed on top and squared at the shoulders, this stone has two small blocks jutting out where the curve meets the straight sides, much as a cornice caps a column. Below, a wide flat plinth steps out past both edges. The only opening is a white urn set low in the face, with a flared lip, a pinched neck and a belly that swells before tapering to a slim stem. Its round foot sits just above the plinth, and the dome above it stays empty.
