About the Contour Heart design
A wide black oval holds a heart drawn in negative, striped across by thin lines of steel. Near the top those lines run almost flat, rippling a little like wood grain. Lower down they bend into tighter and tighter arches that crowd into the point, the way contour lines bunch around a steep hill on a map. A solid wedge of steel drops from the rim to form the notch between the lobes.
