About the Flores sign
One sign, three ways to read it: Flores, The Floreses, or Flores Family.
That extra -es is right, not a typo: Flores takes it in the family plural.
Flores on its own suits the circle and the square. Flores Family wants a rectangle or an oval.

Where the Flores name comes from
Flores is the Spanish and Portuguese word for flowers, which is where most people stop. The Spanish surname has a second parent though. It is first found in the Kingdom of Asturias, where the Visigothic royal court took refuge after the Muslim invasion of Iberia in 711, and there it is a patronymic of the Visigothic given name Fruela or Froila. The Italian Flores is separate again, traceable to the Kingdom of Naples in the early 14th century, where records show a Flores family granted land at Persano and Sandionisio. So the name can be flowers or it can be Fruela, depending which family and which country you start from.
