About the Folded Map design
Three tall panels stand side by side, each one hollowed to a long narrow opening with the steel left as an even border around it. The top edge zigzags instead of running flat, peaking at the first fold and sinking at the second, and the bottom edge copies that same rise and fall. Only the outer left and right sides stay vertical, so every interior line leans, and the middle panel ends up the widest of the three.
