About the Globe design
Two horizontal bars cross the ring and two curves bow out from the top of the circle to the bottom, cutting it into nine openings. The middle row reads as three broad rectangles with slightly swollen sides, and above and below them every opening narrows to a sharp point at the pole, like the tip of a leaf. Neither bar passes through the center of the circle, and the gap left between them holds the biggest shapes in the whole grid.
