About the No Entry Ring design
The ring and the stroke cutting through it share one width, so the whole design is one thickness bent one way and run straight the other. That stroke falls from upper left to lower right at a true diagonal, its ends sheared at an angle to sit flush inside the curve. The two openings it leaves are identical, each a D tipped onto its slanted spine, one a half turn of the other.
